i had a job interview with sc biotech, and it felt like it went really well.
i know i can do the work, and that i'll probably have a good time, once i get over the "it's new and scary!" phase. plus, if they do offer me a position, i can live at home for a bit and save up money that would otherwise be spent on rent.
i also have a job interview with the CDFA to be an agricultural pest data specialist (hahaha, specialist) in sacramento. the benefits of that is that i won't have to get a car immediately, assuming they want to hire me. and it has something to do with agriculture, which i'm really interested in.
PLUS i also have an interview with a winery in Graton, CA (west of santa rosa). this position 'started' 7/21, and the woman called me the afternoon after i emailed in my resume. can we say desperate? i'm interested in enology, and i know without a doubt in my soul, that i'm completely capable of doing this job. it's entirely within my comfort level, and molly says the area is really nice and pretty.
i never really expected to hear back from the cdfa or the winery job. :) i feel special. or maybe i just have this sixth sense about jobs where the employers are desperate for people who can write cover letters. :)

well, I mean, it's what it is.
I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the parties. I didn't enjoy not understanding rosies accent, but that was the only thing. Besides, she won't be doing inventory. Jared and Arlen (aarons siblings) also worked there, with the goats. They liked it. Steve, is that his name? He's a freak.
Arleen killed a goat! how totally awesome is that! Plus, it was like a dramatic death, with screaming and labored pants and then the stillness.... oh the drama.

"no! you can't rotate the barrels now! we have to wait until the pH drops another .2!"
but, in reality, i think it would be me testing it and seeing how it's progressing. and hopefully learning a lot about wine making.
